This blog and all content is written and edited by myself, Islay. For questions about islaay.com please contact  me at islaay@yahoo.co.uk. I very occasionally accept forms of paid advertising, sponsorship and other forms of compensation- for example, gifted products. The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made on islaay.com. Any advertisements, posts with sponsored links or gifted items will be identified with a sentence at the end of the post which states this.

The views and opinions expressed on islaay.com are purely mine and are not influenced or biased, even as a result of payment. I will only endorse products or services that I believe in and feel are worthy of such endorsement.

The vast majority of the items I mention on islaay.com are items I have purchased myself with my own money. As a "perk" of being a blogger, from time to time I'm offered items in exchange for them to be featured in a blog post such as a nail/outfit of the day, haul or review. I am very selective when it comes to accepting free items because I always feel if I didn't buy it myself, I probably didn't want it.  

 Any items sent to me, gifted at a press event or paid for by store credit will be clearly marked at the end of each post. Being sent items does not change my opinion on a item, any opinions which I do post on islaay.com are 100% honest and unbiased. I would never accept money to speak positively of a product unless I truly believed in it. If the case did arise of sponsored posts where I'm sent something to review for compensation, this will be clearly marked and I will only do the post if I genuinely recommend the product.
