Cute wrapping, and Love Hearts and Crosses jewellery

Hello everyone,
it's one of my friend's birthdays tomorrow and so today I was wrapping up one of her presents and it looked so cute, I thought I just had to share it with you!

Inside the box is a pair of gold owl earrings which I bought online the other day from Love Hearts and Crosses. The delivery was really quick, I bought them on Sunday and they came today which is Tuesday! Oh and they have free delivery at the moment but it finishes today, sorry about that!

Here is what the earrings look like:

They are really cute and they were reduced to only £3!

I also bought myself a scrabble ring with an I on it, I have wanted one for ages and I can't believe I have only just got round to buying one!

The ring was also reduced to £3.

Anyway, onto the wrapping. The earrings came in the little brown box, and all I did was to add the ribbon around the edge with double sided tape.

Then I simply tied another piece around it with a bow. I think that it looks so cute and I would love to receive it for a gift. It looks so much prettier than just wrapping paper would look! I am definitely going to take the time this year to do really nice and pretty wrapping on my Christmas presents!

If you have any wrapping ideas, or if you have seen any on the Internet, please leave them as a comment below because I am in need of some inspiration!

Beauty questions tag: This or that?

Hello everyone,
today I really wanted to do a beauty tag post, and I came across this one on google and decided to give it a go!
Please do this tag too and send me the link if you do it, I would love to read them!

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eye liners, lipsticks and lip glosses or lose all your palettes and eye shadows?
All of my palettes and eyeshadows because I rarely use them anyway, and I have much more lipsticks/ mascaras than eye shadows. There is really only one that I use everyday and that is a No.7 one called 'wheatsheaf' which I could easily purchase again!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Hmmm, I would rather chop it all off because it would take a while to grow back, but it would eventually and I'm not really a fan of the whole wispy scraggy long hair anyway!
Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink! I'm not really sure why, except from it's my favourite colour?
If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or make up?
I would be so tempted to spend (and probably waste) $1000 on makeup but I would have to go for clothes.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick I guess...? It seems far less messy and I don't really fancy rocking the bright red eyeliner look an a daily basis!

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I would have to say MAC because we don't have Sephora in England, although I have visited while on holidays and it was lovely inside!

Would you rather use only one eye shadow colour or one lip colour the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow colour, because as I said before I really only use 'Wheatsheaf' from No.7, and I love wearing bright red lipstick!
Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
Winter clothes in the summer because I guess it's better to be warm than freezing? And I love layering up scarves, jumpers and cardigans!

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright! I love wearing bright pastel shades all year round. At the moment my nails are a shocking blue and it's almost December!
Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or messy bun?
I wear my hair in a messy bun all the time and practically never in a pony tail!

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
Never use lip gloss because I could always use lipstick instead! And I couldn't live without my nail varnishes!

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Shave them because they would grow back in a few weeks?
Would you rather live without make up or nail polish?
Wow, this one's hard. This is genuinely a hard decision. I have been sat staring out the window for the past two minutes now trying to weigh up the pros's and con's of each one... I would have to say, although it breaks me to do so that I would have to live without my beloved nail varnishes! Nooo!

Thankyou for reading this and have a lovely day

Aussie luscious long leave in conditioner

Hello everyone,
so today I have another hair post for you. This time it is on the luscious long leave in conditioner, from Aussie. I am pleased to say that this time it is a positive review, unlike the Vo5 give me texture style spray which I reviewed last week and really didn't like.
I had tried some of the Aussie range before but I was really interested in purchasing more. I bought the leave in conditioner and the shampoo both from the 'luscious long' range. I haven't used the shampoo yet because I have a load of shampoos already open that need using up, but because of how much I love the, I am sure I will love the leave in conditioner I am sure I will love it!
Before buying this I had read a few reviews on the internet, as I pretty much always do before purchasing something new, which I really recommend doing because since I have been doing it I reckon it will of saved me a load of money on buying products that either don't do what I would like them to do, or because they are just genrally bad products. It really doesnt take long to read a coulple of blog posts as you are doing now, or reading reviews on onther websites and it helps to build a fuller and more detailed view on if the product is right of you. Anyway almost all of the reviews that I read said how nice it is and how well it worked so I thought I just had to give it a go!
As you can see, the Boots website has 26 reviews for it with an average of five stars for all the sections.

Anyway, enough rambling and lets get onto the product...

I hadn't rally used many leave in conditioners before, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. But anyway, first of all the smell of this product is really nice. It's hard to describe but it is really fresh and fruity, but unfortunately it doesn't stay in your hair for long after you have used it. However the effects of it definitely make up for it.
It detangles, hydrates and soothes my hair and leaves it feeling silky smooth, healthy and soft to touch. My hair is both thick and reletavely long and it has really worked wonders on my hair and it is quickly becoming one of my staple, holy grail products! I use it every time I wash my hair, when it is towel dried then I go on to use the rest of my products and I am really shocked about how nice and effective it is!
The nozzle on this gives a really fine even spray onto my hair, so it coats it really well in the product and it is really well distributed throughout my hair. It doesnt leave my hair feeling sticky or heavy like some hair products can, but instead leaves it lighter and softer than before. It also doesnt leave my hair at all greasy because it is more of a watery consitency than an oily one, so I would recommend it to people with an oily hair type.
I reckon it will last a while too because it is 250ml and the spray is a fine mist so hardly any is wasted when you use it.

I would deffiniately recomment this to everyone, because overall it has made my hair really soft, sleek and shiny and I recently introduced my mum to it and she has very short, quite dry hair; it is pretty much the opposite of mine and she has bought one aswell and loves it. I can't wait to try more products from Aussie and I cant wait to use the shampoo that I bought aswell!

I purchased it from Boots and it cost £3.68. Here is a link to it on the Boots website so you can read all of the positive reviews for yourself!
Aussie also do a 'miracle hair insurance leave-in conditioner' which claims to strangthen your hair. Here is a link to it on the Boots website. I'm not sure why but it is £3.99 whereas my one is £3.68, so it an extra 31p. Weird.

Female Christmas gift guide!

Hi everyone,
These blog posts are sometimes some of my favourite type of post to read during the time leasing up to Christmas. They always put me in a festive mood and get me excited for Christmas! Some of these things are going on my Christmas list this year, and some of them I am getting for other people.

First of all is the Soap and Glory 'Heaven Nose' gift set. I bought myself this the other day as a treat for finishing my exams (even though I still have another three to go but shhh) and I think it would make a great present for a friend.

The gift set contains a full size (50ml) Original pink perfume, which is meant to be £15.83. It smells delicious, but the scent doesn't stay on that long so you may want to carry it in your bag to reapply during the day.

The set also includes a 150ml pot of their famous Righteous Butter. The full size is 300ml and it costs £10.21 so it should be around a fiver. They both have the same scent so they are great for layering so the scent lasts longer.

This set costs £16 but the contents of it should cost around £20 and the packaging is really lovely too, so it is great value for money!

Overall I think this would be  lovely gift to receive or give and I will be definitely be purchasing a couple more as gifts!

The second thing that I have to show you is the Stila Lip Glaze Set from Feelunique. This also costs £16 and they have free deilvery. The set contains eight lip glosses, four of them being their most popular shades, and ther four and limited edition holliday shades. They are 0.05oz and the full size are 0.08oz. The full size ones retail for £15, so as you can see you are getting an amazing bargain!

As you can see, all of the colours are very wearable and this is deffinitely going onto my Christmas wish list!

The third thing is the melting snowman bath melt from LUSH. This super cute bath melt would make a really nice inexpensive present for something like a secret Santa, or if you just wanted to give someone an inexpensive gift.

It costs £1.95 and it smells delicious. Lush describe the scent as "Exquisitely fragranced with a blend of oils containing vanilla absolute and sweet wild orange, giving him a deep marzipan fragrance with notes of rich fruit, reminiscent of Christmas cake and figgy puddings" I know you will agree that he is so cute and I would certanly be happy to unwrap him on christmas day!

The fourth thing that I thought of is the Cinders bath bomb, also from LUSH. This is one of my favourite scents, but it is unfortunatly only comes out at christmas and so I will be stocking up on them to use throughout the year!

I am no good at describing scents so again here is what LUSH had to say about it "Almond essential oil, sweet orange oil and cinnamon leaf oil give a smooth fruity scent with a touch of spice. It lifts the mind and lingers on the skin." It also has popping candy in it, which is the redish colour in it, and this is meant to sound like a crackling fire, but to be honest you have to listen quite hard to hear it. The only downside to it is that because of the yellow colour it has, it turns your bath a rather unfortunate colour, but it's worth it for the smell it leaves on your skin! It also costs £1.95 and you could get two baths out of it, if you wanted to break it in half. This would also make a good secret santa present too.

The final thing that I thought of is the Cut Roses cosmetic bag from Cath Kidston. I have to admit, I am a massive Cath Kidston fan, and I love pretty much everything from there. I pretty much always have something from there on my wish list and this time it is this makeup bag. I already have a couple of the smaller ones, but I really want one this size for travelling so that I can fit everything I need inside one thing, instead of having lots of smaller makeup bags, where things get lost.

I think that this is a really good size for £12 and they last for absoultely ages. I have one the smaller size but with a slightly different pattern and I have had it for almost two years- actually I think I may of got it for christmas, and I use it in my school bag every single day, and there is not even a sign of it breaking.

I think I may do another ift guide nearer Christmas, I would of made this one longer but I really need to do some revising seeing as I have another maths exam on Monday, and Biology and Chemisry GCSE's this Tuesday! Eeeek!

Thankyou for reading this and have a lovely day

Cute Girly Flower Nail Of The Day

Hi everyone,
So yesterday I was really in the mood for doing a cute girly design on my nails that I hadn't done before. I had seen this design on the Internet a while ago and had saved a photo in my 'to do' folder on my laptop but had never got round to actually doing it. It is simple and is quite similar to my last nail of the day post which you can read here if you are interested.
Here is what they ended up turning out to look like:

This nail design is actually very easy to do if you have a steady hand and some patience! I will definitely be adding them onto my 'list' of of favourite nail art designs!
To recreate this design, first take your base coat and paint your nails with it. Secondly take your background colour and paint your nails with that. Once that is dry, take a fine paintbrush (I put a link in my Rose Nail Of The Day post if you want to see where mine are from) and paint thin stripes on, in a colour of your choice. Once you have waited on that drying, take a dotting tool, and paint a largiesh dot in one of the corners of your nails. Again once that has dried, take your paintbrush again and draw some curved lines onto the dots to create the impression of rose petals. Then take a green and draw a couple of small lines coming out from either side, to look like leaves. Finally once everything is dry, finish it off with a clear top coat!
What I love about it is that there are so many different colours of flowers, stripes and background colours that you could do, it could look different each time if you wanted! You could also change it to match your outfit or mood if you wnated! I really want to try it out with other colour schemes, so check back here in a few days, and I will put up another post with some other colours!
Now I'm off to bake some cakes (yay!) and do some maths revision for my final maths GCSE exams that are this Wednesday and next Monday (boo!) I really should be revising all day instead of painting my nails, doing blog posts and baking cakes!

Thankyou for reading this and have a lovely day
