A COUPLE OF DAYS IN LONDON

Seeing as my boyfriend had been working in London for a few weeks I thought I would take a mini break from campus life and pop down to spend a couple of nights with him. While I was there my parents were both lovely enough to come up and spend some time with me whilst he was at work. Seeing as my university is 300 miles from home and I don't get to see much of either of them these days it was lovely to spend some time with them!

With Adam we took an evening trip onto the London Eye, went to the Japanese restaurant Nagomi which is just off of Oxford Street (I'd highly recommend) and spent some time wandering around the Southbank area. With my parents I went to the Sky Garden at the top of the Walkie Talkie building, went out for Vietnamese food, went to the Tate and Serpentine galleries, wandered around Hyde Park and went to Monmouth for coffee! As well as this, I had quite a bit of time on my own that I killed by just wandering around and doing a lot of window shopping in Selfridges!

LONDON PHOTO DIARY

I've just got back from spending the best four days in London over New Year - of course I took my camera with me, so here's a few lot of photos of what I got up to!

So, after knowing Laura for three years I FINALLY met her and got to give her a hug and take an international bloggers selfie (#dreams). Also, big shoutout to Ellie for allowing me to live like a super cool London student with her for a few days!!

We took Laura and her friends for their first experience of proper British fish and chips (they hadn't tried vinegar on their chips before, say what...)

LONDON TRIP

Last week, myself and Carissa took another trip up to London for a day of shopping and to do the City of London running race. As neither of us are runners we had set ourselves high aims to complete it within our target time, but we did, so that was a massive bonus! I loved the medals that we got and the route was so pretty- I love the St Pauls area, it's perfect for a morning run! Thank you to London City Mile for organising it! In the afternoon we went to Gourmet Burger Kitchen for lunch (thank you to their Covent Garden staff for the excellent customer service) and then did the typical London trip thing of shopping on Oxford Street before heading to Hyde Park to take some photos using my new camera lens.
